BitNile to Launch Marketplace Site in March 2023

A busy and diversified company known as a crypto mining firm (among many other things) has announced a date for its next expansion. This week, BitNile announced an official launch date for BitNile.com. According to a press release, the site will go live on March 1st, 2023. When it does, it promises to be the “premiere destination for exclusive goods and VIP experiences” — all of which accept Bitcoin. Ahead of that launch date, individuals can sign up for notifications via the company’s website. BitNile says that those who register now will earn a future reward, although details on that are not yet available.

This latest project is one that Bitnile has been teasing since at least September, although the specific launch date is new. Despite this lead-up, few details about the marketplace itself are currently known.

Announcing the impending debut of the marketplace, BitNile’s CEO Milton “Todd” Ault III stated, “This has been many years in the making and are proud of the progress that Douglas Gintz and his team have made and look forward to becoming the premiere destination for exclusive goods and VIP experiences.” Ault added, “We look forward to our launch on March 1st, 2023.”

While, in the crypto world, BitNile Holdings may be known for its mining efforts, the company’s investments actually run the gamut. For example, earlier this month, a subsidiary of the company completed the acquisition of assets from Circle 8 Crane Services. Elsewhere, another BitNile subsidiary, TurnOnGreen, recently announced that it’d been selected by Best Western to be an endorsed supplier of electric vehicle charging systems at the hotel chain’s properties in North America.

Of course, that diversity could be in handy given the so-called “Crypto Winter” currently in progress. Not only are prices for numerous cryptocurrency assets far off from their highs but the recent collapses of FTX and BlockFi have only exacerbated the pain. This has led to layoffs at such companies as Robinhood, Coinbase, and more.

Looking at BitNile’s bloat of press releases coupled with some negative Twitter replies, it’s hard to know what exactly to make of the company. Plus, with few details to go off of, it’s hard to say whether this marketplace will prove to be a worthy portal or just another side project from an ultra-diversified firm. That said, those hoping to get some sort of undisclosed future reward in exchange for sharing their email address can currently do so by joining the list at BitNile.com. Hopefully we’ll learn a lot more about this marketplace as March draws near.
